Hi folks,
Bit new to this ... and have to confess that it kinda screws my head ... so please be gentle!!
Sent off a letter to GE about a policy from a few years ago. They sent a reply saying that PPI was added on 21 Dec 2001 when they received my signed credit agreement. As this was prior to Jan 2005 they say the FSA's decision is not relevant. They say they find no evidence of mis selling ... is that the end of the road for me?
Cheers for any help!£10 a day in November = £593.31 / £3000 -

I all can go on is the case that they have attempted to face up to me several times now and settled out of court everytime. The most recent case is on the PPI on my credit card. If you go a couple of pages back i've sent the Baliff's in however their own litigation department stated that they were going to attempt to get it stay or thrown out to which i laughed. If a company attempts to hard ball you stick to your guns. Worst case you never get the money back but you never had it in the first place so you can't lose anything but a little time and money in the process but the pro's are better. To everyone in this thread remember its just a matter of seeing the process through to the end. If the company think your an easy target then they will attempt everything to try and not pay out. They can't cancel policy's that you have unless you have broken contract with them. They are all bluff as they know they are in the wrong. Never take the payment option they give always take the one what is suitable for yourself. You don't have to accept it if they say they will take it off your loan/card. Get militant with them give them deadlines and be in control. Keep your chins up and keep fighting.:T0 -

First of all them flagging up the FOS means that they think you're badly informed. They might of not been a member of FOS but they were members of the FLA rehash your wording and say you are now aware of your previous mistake and that you can reclaim against any policy which was still running within 6 years ago. If they are immediately defending then you should take this as a good sign.0 -
Thanks for that,I`ll keep my chin up and keep fighting!!The Grass may look greener
