    My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

    That keeps it suitably vague as to what you do finally send them, but definitely include them now, not later.
    A nomb? - why isn't your daughter doing this now? Her response, as reported, showed a brisk sensible grasp of the basics.

    Yes of course awaiting confirmation that draft letter is ok and will be posting letter to MIL today.

    you will see an excellent letter penned by "gan" , obviously you do not copy/paste this , you edit it to use your own details and alter sentences , so that it does not looks like internet reply
