it doesn't sound appealing0

dont forget use saynoto0870.co.uk to find ways of calling Orange for free (from landlines) if you're concerned about being billed for calling customer services. i called them on a 0800 from landline to cancel the itemised billingI hear the cry of the silence around me.0

I called Orange to check that everything has been set up as planned (no Orangeworld, insurance or itemised billing etc) and that I've been billed at the right rate.
Everything is fine.
Customer services were very polite, helpful and patient, incidentally, despite the number of calls they've probably had to deal with on this matter.
Top marks so let's not make mountains out of molehills.
No surcharge for calling 150 either. Can't remember whether it's totally free or if it's taken off your inclusive minutes but for all the time you're likely to use it, it wouldn't use much of your allowance anyway.
Much better than O2 who used to charge me 50p a minute to sort out problems that were their fault in the first place!0 -

I agree with most of this, but Orange are charging around 12p per minute for 150 calls on the OVP Vodafone 200 tarif - as that is what vodafone are charging. I was talking to Orange on the phone as I found this out, and as it was a genuine mistake they credited me with the call, plus some other 0800 calls ( I assumed as it was orange these were free too - they aren't).

hmm, most contract phones will not charge you to contact services. orange didn't when i was them on another tariff, and i'm pretty sure the original vodafone tariff of this deal does not. i will be phoning them soon to find out anyway.0

It is the number from saynoto0870, I've used it after not getting replies to my emails and they dealt with my problem, which was not web related.
Whenever I use a number from saynoto0870 even if it is the wrong department I just ask to get put through anyway. This usually works unless your talking to a jobsworth!0
