I don't dye it grey it is naturally grey, I used to be mousey brown. I actually dye it Auburn or Mahogny type shades. (perhaps I didn't make that clear! Sorry!).

Henna (brown mixed with a tiny bit of red ) seems to do it for me. The front of my hair and temples is quite grey but the back is still dark brown. The grey bits after the henna look like blonde highlights and it seems to last ages. Very messy while you are doing it though and you have to leave it on for hours.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

It is usually recommended that women go at least a couple of shade slighter than their original colour as the skin tone pales as you get older.
Having a hairstyle where your parting isn't on show helps too. A zig-zag parting will make regrowth less obvious, as will using a lighter shade.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
