Well, I've got some time off work and am going Sunday. Heading off with a mate and three ladies, not the present Mrs xmlkid unfortunately though.
I'll be the large bloke on the blue folding bike in Stavanger (assuming it's not raining!) - say hello if you see me!
Anyone seen the forecast for Sunday? All week it's been veering between 3-4 moderate or rough to Storm Force 9. Hoping for the former myself....

Went over by fery to bergen years ago one September.
Couple of points, duty free was more expensive than buying in a UK supermarket. Food and drink on board are very expensive, so get lots in the UK for your travels.
When you get to see a few oil rigs, you realise how far to sea you are.
Ferry crossing before I went was SO rough the fruit machines came away from the walls (and they were bolted in place).
Ferry crossing on the way out for me was 2nd roughest in my life (Dover -Calais last ferry out before a major storm was the roughest, and that was rough as heck. You could hardly stand).
Cheap £6 prices soon add up as you tend to eat and drink to releave the boredom.0 -
We will take food and drink and the travel kettle for lunch, drinks and snacks.
I heard that you can boil eggs in a kettle, Im thinking of trying this out .
LOL with all the MSEs on here cooking in the cabins to save a few bob on food perhaps dawnylou has a point
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
