Ha ha, thanks BB, glad to see you still have a wicked sense of humour even when you're tired; best way to be. (Promise will PM you soon). In meantime, you rest up and hope you feel well enough for that trip to London on Thursday, will keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks to everyone else for the amusing posts as ever! Glad to see that Ajax is getting the spanking he deserves, although he has been unusually quiet so maybe he really is sulking in the corner? Come out Ajax, wherever you are!

the best way to get an accurate record of weightloss is to weigh yourself at the same time once a week (on the same day) in the same place wearing the same clothes. The reason why you are only supposed to weigh weekly is because your weight can fluctuate from day to day and it takes 7 days for a loss/gain to show.

The best idea is to weigh yourself first thing in the morning (after you've been to the loo) preferably in your birthday suit emba0002.gifso then you can't blame your jeans/shoes/etc. That's your true weight.

As for where - since you're weighing in the nuddy - probably upstairs in the bathroom if it's a tiled or vinyl floor.(spares any blushes.) or in your bedroom if you have a laminated or wooden floor

Let us know how you get on...

Thanks for the advice. Thing is there is about a difference of 3-4 pounds depending on where I weigh myself! I think i'll take the heaviest reading and weigh from there from now on. Though i'm going back to uni in a few weeks so will have to try and work out if the new place I would weigh myself at is a similar accreateness to at home.

I'm hoping to loose about a stone, because i'm sure you can guess what the free reins at uni does to your food intake!

Hi everybody - and thanks for showing us the before and after photos. They are great and a real reminder to us all why we are doing this in the first place. Don't all you skinny 'afters' look fab! Not brave enough :o (or technical enough:p:rotfl: ) to even attempt to show mine so will just have to be inspired by all of you.

Walked to work and then home again today (about 5-5.5 miles in total), then went for another walk in the evening so feeling very pleased with my 21409 steps.:D That ought to boost the average a bit. One knee rather sore though so will see if I walk to work again tomorrow.

1st WI tomorrow morning and feeling very peckish so off to bed before I start doing too much damage!

Well done on all the losses
    Katyk
