Err because my savings are finate so I'm claiming all I can to reduce the burn rate. Just apply some logic.

    No but I don't think it's a coincidence either

I was the same. I waited until my savings were below the threshold and started my claim. I swear the lady in the job centre was shocked as I showed her statements from several bank accounts, shares etc.

Just you have to remember the people here are true working class, many not far from being non-economic contributors themselves so they buy into the IDS hate. Yet ironically, they love politicians despite having paid for their duck ponds to be cleaned.

Yes and I was spelling it out for the OP that they were stupid not to plan for a rainy day!!

    You person :rotfl:

That would have made more sense, had you not seemingly randomly picked out any old post and then made your point.

Wasn't it you that needed the Job Centre to provide you with a suit so that you could attend an interview ?

Nothing random about it. You mentioned spoon feeding and I made an analogy regarding the OP. Keep up fella - its not rocket science!

Yes it was. A very fine suit it was too. Sadly didn't get that job (the job centre saw my feedback and said it was excellent) , but in a way it worked out as Ive secured another position within academia (which was something I had talked myself out of with the other position because academia is very hard to stay within). Best of the best and all that.

Funny. Reminds me of a TV skit, involving a rocket scientist and a brain scientist. (I'm the latter. I doubt you are the former).

No, not at all. I'm just a hard working someone who has been in almost exactly the same position as the OP but I didn't resort to crying on the internet because the tax payer wouldn't fund my hobby.
