Thanks everyone. Sorry ,I have not been on my diary in a while.
Happy New Year.
Well Christmas was a bit spendy but we have had a great time. Edinburgh was lovely and almost magical they had a Christmas fayre and rides which my daughter loved.
She could not believe the letter from Santa about the pandas. She was so excited. On the day we went to the zoo we were warned that we may not see them, as they had not been coming out much recently. So I was a bit worried. However we got to see the boy panda " Yang Guang" who was laid asleep but then suddenly he decided to get up, stroll outside, then lay on his back and munch on a carrott. It was amazing.
The last four days my daughter has been with her Dad and her sisters. I spent a little time with them as I do miss the girls but then I went to my boyfriends and have literally camped out there since Wednesday. I think my parents will have enjoyed the break! Lol
I need to look at my bills and assess the Christmas damage. I am focused this year to save. So thrifty me it is. Well for now anyway. I will update when I dare check the bank balance. Then put in a plan for saving.
I also looked at the help to buy isa but I once had a mortgage for a year before an awful divorce . So do not fit the criteria. Oh well.
Happy New Year x0 -
Happy New Year to your Rebecca!!

Happy New Year! Glad you've had a lovely Christmas
and dds had lots of fun. That was great luck with panda. I always seem to go to monkey world when it's raining or they just want to smear poo on the glass.

Sorry not updated in a while.
So my ex paid me back the money he owed with his bonus. So I had my credit card down to £2000. However, I am so bad! My bed broke. It was a 3/4 bed that was actually my daughters. It wasn't expensive (interim measure) and was not really meant for me. My dd has one of those bunk beds with a table under it. So when I split with ex. I bought her that and took her 3/4 bed.
Confession time. I love premier inns. Stayed in a fair few over the years due to step daughter access etc and cheap nights talking my daughter away. So what have I done? Eeekk. I have ordered a new hypnos premier inn bed! It is near £900. Noooo!!!
My consolation is that I will spend 33 percent of my day in it. More preferable!:D
I need to stop spending. Back to being frugal.
Dd and I have spent half term dog sitting. So that was £50 and my friends posh house to ourselves. So that was good.
Will update balances next month after my huge spends! So bad.0 -
I had no idea you could by their beds - I so would they weren't so expensive I love them!MFW

I know! I did not realise until last week when oh booked one in Sunderland for a staff night out.
Atleast I have tried it out.
I have figured my debt is like my weight. As soon as it gets manageable and I am feeling good. I start troughing again! Aghhh
So frugal and no binging. I will do this!0
