For anybody opening an account with them, start with the minumum £1!
I opened with £1000, but then found out it takes 5 days to appear, even though the funds have been removed from my account - effectively losing 5 days interest on that. I'll report back if it goes smoothly.
The cheque was debited to my current account on 28 Feb.
We have received your account opening cheque of GBP1,000.00. This amount will be credited in your account on March 05, 2008.
An initial deposit cheque gets credited in 5 working days. You can view the transaction detail through online statement.
"Online statement" just shows: Current Balance : GBP 0.000
