    Thanks Aesop and carbootcrazy! :)

    I'll get there, slowly!

The MS thing was at a bank and they only needed one shop done per 'area' and someone had already done one in a town near me :( I hadn't done the work or anything yet so no big deal, just the extra £200 would have been awesome!
  • I'm done for the month as off to France on hols tonight! Met my target! Hoping to knuckle down again next month! See you in June!

Just remembered that the info I gave on adding smilies etc is based on the 'old' look forum. The newer version which you might be on looks a bit different and probably works slightly differently. Sorry if I've confused you:o

I thought about that too. not using the new skin and refuse to, can't really help much apart from doing it old school.

£16.60 from panelbase net. My DS had to fill in a very long booklet for a £10 reward,we forgot about it and sent it in very late but they have still paid us :D and we have now receive another one from maximiles.

I promised him 3 costa treats if he did the book, so he is looking forward to the money clearing

will work out ebay stuff later

do you have freegle in your area? they don't mind you asking for things and I have given away printers before.

shame you are so far from me I have a printer for sale, and would happily accept £10 argos voucher instead of cash :D

    https://ilovefreegle.org/

I think Freegle and Freecycle are the same thing. I've given lots away on there over the years and requested a few things too. It's a wonderful resource but it's only a couple of months since I asked for my last printer (it didn't last long did it?), I'm a bit embarrassed to keep asking:o

Thanks for your offer, you're a star:T but I may have found one.
I mentioned it to a friend and she thinks her husband has one at his office that he wants to offload. Nothing wrong with it, just upgrading. He was planning to give it away, doesn't want anything for it but she's not sure if he's already found someone who wants it. Will see what he says tonight.

Fingers crossed for the printer CBC :). If it doesn't happen, don't feel embarrassed about requesting another one on Freecycle - it's what the site's for, and it's not as if you don't offer stuff on there.

freecycle and freegle are two different entities a bit rivalrous of each other lol

I find freegle don't have as such strict rules as freecycle

fingers crossed though that you get friend's hubby's printer.
