I've been thinking of joining this thread next month, but thought I might as well jump in now, seeing as there's still 12 days left.
I'll aim for the £310, but know it's highly unlikely I'll get there.

A warm welcome to the Fred and good luck with the challenge :)

£20 worth of Amazon vouchers ordered thanks to credit card points. Ok, so not cash, but we use these little pots of vouchers for Xmas gift buying. That way the budget doesn't get kicked in the short and curlies.
Does everyone else stash theirs for big expenses or spend them as they go?
I put them straight onto my Amazing account - that way if anything happens at least I've got the dosh ;)
Mind if I join you in June? :D
Welcome aboard and good luck with the challenge. Don't forget to join the new Fred for June (when it's up) and to tell Aesop how much you're aiming for :D

Hope you all have a terrific Thursday

    here's a little secret surfchik80

on the same amazon account, you can have different passwords. You could then stash away the christmas amazon money using on e password and use the other password for urgent spending.

Even better is to get hubby/partner to set up second password and not tell you :D

I keep saying I learn something new every day on this thread and here's something else. I've been using Amazon for donkey's years with a buying and a selling account and I never knew about the password thing:o

Thanks as ever, Aesop:T. A mine of information as usual.

Really? Separate passwords for same account? That's very useful! I'm not so much worried about dipping into them - I'm pretty good at not spending (not a fan of shopping anyway - should have been a boy really!), but the separate "pots" of vouchers idea really appeals to the organising geek in me :rotfl:

Cheers for that, will investigate tonight!

  • Just had an email inviting me to participate in this research. Well, not me exactly, but any children I might have in the right age group. Don't have any but thought it might be useful for those of you who do. Quite lucrative and might keep them out of mischief;)

Evening all - just cashed out £10 from sw@gbucks, will wait until it hits my account before updating. For any fellow sw@gbuckers there's 28 videos on the radium one page worth 1sb each, oh and the sb apps are still playing up for me.

Keep going everyone - there's just 10 more days to go!

lost my post from earlier... ggrrrrrrr

my phone broke yesterday, so no phone, no tablet, using kindle for apps and old phone for everything else but it's on 3g sooooooo slow and doesn't want to work very well. very frustrating as I can't do anything with it.

so that's my 3 things for this week.

desperately listing anything i have now on ebay, don't care if it sells for 99p or £1.50. if it sells, it is gone out of this house.

sold DS' old m&s cardigan for £1.50 , it's in excellent condition so a bargain buy for the buyer
