thanks carbootcrazy.
I know I shouldn't have to rely on technology but that's the way of the world these days.
there is a new app for buying and selling vouchers called zeek, and everyone is doing it, if you refer a friend, they get £10 when they use your referral and you get £10 when they spend £10. There have been amazon vouchers and supermarket vouchers for £12 or even £10, so people have been paying nothing or just £1 or £2 and getting bargains. But the app doesn't work on my old phone so can't do much
But see that's another money making way, I could be buying cheap amazon vouchers - someone got 2 yesterday but they go fast, have to keep checking. You can sell vouchers too, the company charges £3 and you have to send recorded delivery or special delivery to them, think they reimburse you for it but it takes upto 14 days for you to see money, so not quick.
but if you have unwanted vouchers or happy to invest time making amazon, good place to sell them, you have to discount them too so not face value but if you get free losing about £5 isn't bad for a £20 voucher etc.

Been MIA lately, not too much to report, building up my SB to cash out a bigger giftcard, bit scary leaving it in there....
Few ebay items ending on sunday.
Little bit of cashback from Quidco due, getting that as Amazon gift codes. Never knew about the separate passwords thing either, might look in to that and save all the gift vouchers for Christmas. Great tip!
Had a £200 MS fall through yesterday, gutted! Have about £35 coming from another lot at the start of next week though.
Doing onepoll too, going to take me FOREVER to cash out £40! ha! will be good once its done and the surveys are super easy and quick so cant complain too much!
Just over £20 from my on the side craft business too
Think that's about it! Havent been doing a very good job of keeping on top of my totals so my signature might not be a 100%! Will make that my aim for next month, KEEP TRACK!
Just want to say thanks to everyone who posts on here, so so helpful! It really is surprisingly easy to make a bit of extra money every day (I probably have a fair bit more time than a lot of people, being a stay at home mum).0 -
Aesop: Fantastic news about getting the eBay/Paypal issue sorted. Must be a weight off your mind:j
My printer has 'died' now:mad:. I'd had the last one for years and when it finally conked out it wasn't worth getting repaired, even if it could be. I tried all the usual tricks myself to resuscitate it but no joy. Couldn't afford to buy a new one even though they are quite cheap so I put a wanted ad on Freecycle and had several replies with offers. Got a really nice one and the donors even threw in a lot of spare cartridges for it:j. Now that one's 'had it', totally knackered. Must get another as I really need one and use it a lot. Don't like to ask on Freecycle again:o and can't see any offered on there. I've a £10 Argos voucher so might see if they have anything I can afford.
It's just pay, pay, pay at the moment. Thank goodness I found this challenge and have made a bit extra through it to cover life's inevitable emergencies. Thanks everyone0 -
also, can someone please explain to me how I 'tag' someone on here?! I keep being to say thanks to certain people but I cant work out how to do it! can I maybe not because i'm a newbie? also cant seem to add the cute smiley faces!0

now trying to get amazon to get courier to deliver something before 10am... lol
I paid with paypal so would be delivered today but because paypal put my account on hold funds not available yesterday, as problems with phone didn't see email until too late to pay alternatively
and now probably won't get order in time and not worth me having.0 -

you can't tag people on here, you can quote or write their name and put their name in bold like this mmharko
there is a box above where you write you comment, highlight the name, and then click on B for bold.0 -
mmharko
Not sure if it's the same for newbies but there should be a Thanks button at the bottom of every post. If you see one that you want to thank just click on it and your name will appear underneath in the list of other thankers.
Again, might not work for newbies, but when you click the Post Reply button to make a post yourself the box that you type in should have the smilies down the side. Just click on the ones you want. They aren't all shown, you need to click on the 'more' link at the bottom. They'll all open in a pop-up page. Sometimes the typing box is smaller without the smilies shown. In that case click on Go Advanced and you'll get the box I just mentioned.
Sorry if it sounds complicated:o,it really isn't.
Good Luck:beer:0 -
the other thing to do for smilies, is to put n manually yourself like this
: ) -remove the space between the two things

do you have freegle in your area? they don't mind you asking for things and I have given away printers before.
shame you are so far from me I have a printer for sale, and would happily accept £10 argos voucher instead of cash
