Good morning all, sorry I've been a bit quiet lately. My £350 camera sale that fell through the other day is going ahead again tonight (we'll see if he turns up this time). I've sold a few odds and sods on various Facebook groups (I think i'm starting to PI** of the admins from the amount im posting and selling)

I'm off to north Devon this weekend so i'll be very quiet and wont be making much money, hopefully i wont be spending much either :p

    morning all

had issues with ebay - buyer opened a not received yet case, which was fine, but he received item yesterday confirmed with me but wouldn't tell ebay he had it. I needed the money as sold something else last night and the funds were tied up in the dispute. told chat, it's a bank holiday weekend and if he chooses not to contact you until next week I am stuffed as cannot post item and have no cash.

so they closed the case for me but still waiting for paypal to release funds. That's an hour of my day gone sorting that out

Azzzaa have a lovely weekend, hope the weather is brilliant where you are.

    Well done Emzilla.

    Thanks for sharing Sugarplum

really struggling without my phone and tablet. As if I still have my tablet, I wouldn't mind about phone, but can't install apps on my old phone too slow with just a few apps on it. But making life difficult for me as money making apps on phone in for repair ones that are being used for tracking etc.

    Hi all
I've been buying things to sell on eBay and it really scares me but last night I made a sale and have now paid for new trainers for oh and ds with the profit, made £30 profit after paying for all the stock, fees postage etc and still have 2 items to sell (prob worth £50) so really really pleased. Going to "reinvest" my £30 to make more knowing now I'm using profit to buy so it can self generate and not affect real money. Does that make sense?
Also upgraded ds phone and discovered his old one could sell for £70 :j so going to try and fb sell that.
I'm loving being back on the thread it just keeps my head in the game:beer:
Also thanks for the Amazon tip that's something I had no clue about.

Ps Aesop you asked what cartridges but as I'd put my foot in it so badly I didn't reply :-/ they are canon 521 and 520 type ones. I've looked online and can't see anywhere that takes them

you didn't put your foot in it. You weren't to realise, the thread moves so fast.

let me take a look. might be a while as trying to sort some other stuff as well.

    Well done on sales. brilliant.:T

how many do you have? might be worth ebaying. I am going to check another site I found the other day
  • Well done to everyone who has made any money lately. This thread never stops, just inspiration day after day:j

Have a great trip, Azzzaa:beer:. Fingers crossed for your camera sale.

Aesop, I feel so sorry for you with most of your devices 'on the blink'. Technology eh, we can't live without it nowadays can we:(?. Very sorry too about your problem with eBay. I really don't like selling on there these days, they care more for the 'buyers' than the sellers and getting an issue resolved is a nightmare. I only sell on there if I've no other option whereas a few years ago it would be my 'go to' platform every time. I hope you can sort something out with your posting. As for having to do something urgently and having absolutely no cash to cover it I've 'been there done that' more times than I care to remember:o. Sending all the positive vibes that I can muster your way

Batgirl: Congratulations on your eBay sales, brilliant result. Here's to many more of them:beer: (without any of the hassle that Aesop and I have been talking about).
As for cartridges, can't help I'm afraid. I've had Epson printers for about 25 years and no one ever wants Epson cartridges:mad:. Could have made a fortune otherwise, all the ink I've got through
