Prime video is just terrible, not as good as Netflix. Not worth it.
Unless you order a lot of stuf from amazon, the £20 limit will likely see a move back to Argos and Asda.
I doubt amazon will go bankrupt.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
I used to buy loads of small orders from Amazon, but cut back when I had to spend the £10 for free delivery. Now that they are getting even greedier, I will use them even less.Mortgage Free in 3-T2 : Started at £151,000 Nov. 2009 Mortgage Free Oct 1st 2015

Provided they adjust the prices of individual items this is excellent news. Books and films have been uncompetitive for ages due to the idiocy of offering 'free' postage. By bumping the spend to £20 they may now again become competitive with HMV and book shops.
Really? I've always found their prices compare favourably in comparison to book shops. When I buy books I tend to gravitate towards the supermarkets, but even then I find Amazon's pricing similar.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0 -
Thread title might more accurately contain "doubling" rather than just "upping".
I was literally looking to buy some cds before 6pm, when away to cook etc, now a few hours later, I'm looking to fulfil those purchases on ebay or elsewhere rather than on amazon.0 -
well I dont know if Amazon have changed the goal posts or actually used their Earlobes for once as of this time 05:13am GMT the amount has now gone back to £10..............
Soooooooo if remains to be seen if theyre listening or if it was an error.........0 -

As you say, it's back to £10 again. I'm guessing this is only a temporary reprieve because somebody pressed the 'increase' button too soon before the pre-publicity had been done.0 -
I can find nothing about this on the Amazon site.
Google finds nothing on Amazon.
I've had no email from Amazon.

Is it a slow but sure attempt to make Amazon prime more and more attractive ?
The problem with Amazon prime is that so much stuff is excluded.
Either because it is from a 'marketplace' seller, or it has (with no explanation) a 'not available with Amazon prime' tag.
I seriously thought of joining but after doing an audit of my last couple of dozen purchases decided it wasn't worth it.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
