Will not be bumping up my spend, just spending elsewhere. I dont think this decision will do their business any favours. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Same here. I don't buy much from them now anyway.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0

I do use them a lot but always think it's really cynical the way so many items are priced at £9.99 so you need to buy something else to get the free delivery. I suppose £19.99 will now be the new norm. They'll be losing some but not all of my custom.... They are usually advertised by Amazon market traders who make their money by charging a huge postage cost and such items are not included by Amazon in the category of free postage at checkout anyway.... I will go else where spend a lot of goods that come under £20 I just use ebay more
I had a feeling something like this would happen as they continue to keep pushing prime all time. I just wont use prime0 -
Provided they adjust the prices of individual items this is excellent news. Books and films have been uncompetitive for ages due to the idiocy of offering 'free' postage. By bumping the spend to £20 they may now again become competitive with HMV and book shops.0
