Update - Zara was seen by the vet, checked her all over and said no damage to the operated leg and limping on the other is her compensating for the one that is week. Keep an eye for her and if she still limps in a week bring the xrays check up for now instead of the 2nd July. Zara stayed at home now and is locked in the kitchen with a vet bed on the floor and yoga mat (someone told me those are for exercise but I do not believe them LOL) between the vet bed and her food/water to prevent her from slipping on the floor.

Still in the kitchen, Ewa is bringing the crate late tonight ..
  • Awwww it looks like she's warming her paws on Fred in the last photo!

Is she staying with you or going back to your friends? How's it going with the stairs?

    Fred guarding Zara.....

She is on 100mg tramadol 3 times per day (still limping after that mad fox run) so zonked out most of the time.

Ewa brought the crate last night back from Feltham so do not have to worry about Zara doing anything stupid.

But crate or not, Fred is right with her.. LOL

Took Zara back to the vets last Tuesday as she was still limping prety bad on back leg AND one of her front ones and she stayed till Thursday - had Xrays too.

Nothing major came up on Xrays, plate did move but like 1mm only so was told it should settle and should not cause issues and the lamensss should pass.

Brought her home and she is still limping bad, her spine seems curved, front paw limp with head sideways and down - no idea what is going on.

Another check up on Tuesday - insurance running very low, under 1k left now so really worried.

She is still on Tramadol, 2 tablets of 100mg THREE times per day so 600mg total per day for a 43 kg dog and that worries me too.

    :(
