Went through chrome incognito mode , definitely says £100 and has done for the last 6 weeks ish.
I don't know about Chrome. However, I just clicked through on Firefox and it's £125, yet when I click through on Internet Explorer it's £100 - so there is an anomally for sure.

The current incentive is £100. The £125 incentive started on 1 April but is only available if you open the account and switch through https://www.moneysupermarket.com

I linked via the MSE link to open my Account/Switch and it definitely stated £125, this was in April. When speaking to both the telephone banking and switching team I checked with both what the incentive was and they both stated £125, providing T&Cs are met. I think if you clear your cookies out, once you link to FDs site from MSE, you'll see the cookie warning come up. This is a legal requirement for websites to inform you that they are effectively installing a bit of, "code,sw,app, tracking device", whatever you want to call it lol. At this point you should see £125 offer, I'm guessing it's the same with MoneySupermarket.
Once you've accepted this cookie, if you go directly to First Directs site using the same device and browser, you may see £125 offered, however if applying from there I think you might only end up with £100 incentive.
If this happened I would expect a bank of FDs (HSBC) standing to honour the full £125, I can't believe they would even argue the point.
So babe-ruth if you saw £125 as the incentive, then get back on the phone, tell em the incentive you saw was £125 as you linked from MSE site, and give em both barrels!

    ThAnk you Midland,

I just got a reply back from secure msg I sent. Told them that I was taken to a site offering £125 at the time (13 March). Their reply is that the offer was not on at the time so I will not be getting the extra 25.

My husbands switch is going through any day now so it will be interesting to see what he gets.

VERY disappointed, guess I will have to accept it and move on to the next one
