1st Direct Incentive

Hi all, me again,

I have just checked my 1st Direct account which I currently switched to for the £125 incentive and they have only credited me with £100! Anyone else had this happen?

Send them a secure message from within your account and tell them that you ought to have had £125 and they will then credit the remaining £25.

Thanks Steve, I'm onto it now.

Just checked MSE write up on best bank accounts and it's confusing. It says £125 free cash in the heading. Then further down £100 offer for switching!!

It's £125 at the moment. Was that the case when you initiated the switch? If so you will be entitled to it.

Yes it was, I applied at the beginning of March and I was expecting £125. Did you have a look at the write up Steve. I would like to know if someone else thinks it's confusing

....and it does say £100 or more. I had the same problem and I did as I advise you to do and it was fixed fast!


At the time when I applied the general payment was £100, but if you applied via MSE website then the inducement was £125. I did apply via the link on this site and I simply messaged them to say that and they fixed it for me.
