TTFTM - I recoiled in horror at the suggestion of liquorice tea! Not a fan of aniseed or liquorice flavours at all. Definitely an Earl Grey tea, weak, no milk, no sugar kinda gal :rotfl: What an eclectic bunch we are!
£25 to my online savings today please Sunshine x
Have a great day everyone0 -
Back after a few days of no money with a PAD of £14 courtesy of a survey payout. Still waiting to hear about my balance transfer application. Hoping to put it on the Lloyds one I already have a balance transfer with.
Loving the coffee/tea chat - I'm a bog standard Nescafe original gal myself. On the very rare occasion I find myself in a posh coffee shop it tends to hot chocolate for me.Every penny's a prisoner

Never a truer word spoken. We are a very eclectic bunch. and so long as it's budgeted for it's fine :money:
I have a big birthday later in the year. I was 'window shopping' yesterday online...hmm....do I start a special 'big birthday account' or would that confuse me? Or do I just try and save/PAD all I can to it in the vague hope I can buy everything I want to buy. Current plans (subject to change) - include Birthday breakfast with friends (fry up? Oh yes!!!!) and a deed poll to add middle names and well....a big therapeutic purchase
and then the council say my shower is leaking downstairs and i'm like - life sans shower.

I've got a whopper! Oh, sorry....Morning everyone
£850 for me please - so excited - this is for a flood barrier to go across the driveway that will seal against our new wall and hopefully divert the water round our house. It should've cost £2K but DH haggled in a splendid fashion, although he's got to collect it on Sunday, and it's ours! Never used as the chap moved house before the floods came in Cumbria (lucky him) so this is a real bargain. Whoop whoop! I know it's not strictly a PAD against any debt, but I hope it's allowed?
Erme, I feel your pain at the thought of no shower. I trust the council will make the necessary repairs as a matter of urgency?
Have a lovely day peeps - it's Friday xxx0
