*The principles of PADding*

Emily Hallett started a fantastic thread called 'a payment a day' which you can find via going to this webpage (sorry it won't work for me right now)

The thread is extremely supportive and friendly, with lots of madness and smileys to boot! It is ever increasing, which is why having hit 200 pages, challenge is continuing on a brand new thread.

The principle of the idea is that you pay any extra money you have against a debt to clear it a little bit quicker. Not everyone makes a daily payment, but instead they save money to make a lump sum at the end of the month. You can do it anyway you want to, but join the thread and let us know how you are getting on.

Some PaD-ers have cleared their debts and are now focusing on saving following the same principal, so they still post on the thread. Anyone is welcome to join in at anytime.

Best wishes to everyone

PS. Here are the rules :D

*The Rules*
1) To assist the monthly 'counter-upper' please post your PaD in Bold, colour, large, or all three
2) Once you join, you cannot leave Banane21.gif

PS. As per request this is the total padded for January 2015 -
£ 22474.19

Morning All - lovely day here

I am off to play in a St George's day parade today with my brass band so hopefully it will stay that way :D If not I have a large funnel in which to collect any rain :rotfl:

My PAD today is another £2 to TSB (can't wait for this months statement so I can update my signature total).

I have had a lovely time as counter-upper, but as we are coming to the end of April (and I am running out of adjectives) are there any volunteers to pick up the baton for May?
