Payment A Day Chapter 16

£2.36 for me please - I really did overdo the PADs last week :rotfl:
Oh well, every penny counts and it all helps on the DF journey!
I too am a chai latte virgin, which I don't plan to change anytime soon - I'm a bog standard tea or white coffee girl myself, with the occasional normal latte if I'm feeling like a treat!
Edited to add an extra £2 PAD to BC when I realised £2 would take me to 25% paid....snaffled the £2 off OH so I could hit the magic number :rotfl:Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0 -
PS - way to go on the Tesco CC misfire, although as I've just been accepted for a BT card with Tesco, I am now concerned about the website - I'm so used to MBNA and BC will it drive me mad?!Let’s just pretend I have not been alternately drowning in debt or only eating toast to try and pay it off for the last 20 years 😭0

Coffee wise it's either 'cat pee' or espresso
I have an espresso machine I love it that much- works out for the price of a month's (maybe less for your fancy coffees out) espressos or there abouts - I can buy an espresso machine :j
Bit messy but so worth it!!! (my espresso machine was £40 - refurbished - fleabay)
Tea wise - it's either tea grinds or scottish breakfast
Coffee out! Should that even be allowed on a debt free wannabe challenge? Of course - the odd treat is not going to double or triple the debt :A - Starbucks filtered - a flat white or even americano is a rip off!!!! and occasionally (twice a year max!) a caramel latte with syrup and cream on top (can you hear them calling my name, oh the sugar police LOL)
regardless - it's a principle of choice - hence I don't like the sugar police preaching at 6am through my speakers:dance:

Raining here too in not so sunny North Wales
Erme I would love a coffee machine but no idea what I would get? Like latte's any recommendations welcome.
PAD of 10.00 seems so weird as usually I take it straight off my cards but saving in another account to make payment next month, as otherwise it cancels the direct debit set up and I need 2 set up to get 5 pounds back a month off Halifax. I like to see the totals going down going to impatient month.:rotfl:LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Delonghi EC145 /EC152/ EC155 - get refurbished. Nice small coffee machine and does the job. Bit messy (some don't take pods) but still. For a little mess (use a pastry brush to clean the grinds up - wilko) you save a lot of cash!!! My first one was over a gaggia (same thing just £150 more at the time) - remember to descale it!!!!
Espresso cups - pound shop or charity shop
Hope that helps:dance:

Good morning fellow PADders :hello:
My PAD today is £2 to money box please Sunshine :T
I'm one of those odd creatures that doesn't like tea or coffee so no coffee shop spends for me. I do indulge in the occasional packet of Yogi liquorice tea which I love, I used to buy Pukka peppermint and liquorice but both Lidl and Aldi have started doing their own now and it's excellent.
Have a super day everyone
