Erme - my secret to being bright-eyed at 8am is to be up before 6am (not through choice) , so 8am feels like the middle of the day :rotfl:
£10.00 PAD for me please MessyBetty. My sky rocket has crashed back down to earth. Ah well...
Laters peeps x
LOL...that's half the problem - getting up at about 2.30/3am!!!LittleMissDetermined wrote: »It's the bloomin' dogs... If I'd have had kids instead they'd be sleeping in by now!!!
Get ratties.....just don't give them chip paper from the chipper at 10pm otherwise they keep you awake shredding it for bedding LOL
re EF
Don't know if they still do them but I put mine in NS&I years ago and forgot about it!!!
They have a range of accounts and the good thing for me is that to withdraw it takes 2 days to clear

Crikey - some of you are up early!
I get up early for work every week day, 37 miles motorway commute and I try to be in by 7:15 to avoid the traffic. Would love a local jobsunshine81 wrote: »Can I ask where people are saving their EF's? Mine is just in an RBS Select account I happened to have, but wondering if it's really the best place for it (tax?) and whether I should put it into my ISA.
We have 2 Co-op bank savings accounts alongside our current account. Everything gets transferred into savings account 1 on pay days, then drip fed back to pay direct debits, cash for shopping, fuel etc. When budget is done, remainder from savings 1 goes into savings 2 and has to be a real purpose before money comes out of there.
Also have a Co-op cash ISA for saving HMRC tax and insurance for self employment.

Morning all,
Popping in with a PAD of £126.82 - £100 to the Barclaycard and £26.82 to a new eSaver that I've opened with the intention of saving to pay off the pesky overdraft.
Have a good one x0 -
MessyBetty - many happy returns to your son. 21 is a big age! Mind you I don't know if he feels that way as everything is geared to 18 now isn't it?
Sunshine - I have my EF saved in a YBS cash ISA. It only pays 1.5% but that was never the point for me. It's just somewhere to store it. If you want to invest a stocks based ISA will return much better results over time. For your EF I'd focus on something that's accessible without withdrawal penalties etc.
Hope everyone's well.
