Payment A Day Chapter 16

I'm sitting here in tears as the debt is increasing, not decreasing. DH and I have had a massive row and I just don't know how to go forward.
Scraping a PAD of £1.38 today. Hubby gets paid today, so I'll be taking a long hard look at the finances after my cuppa.
Oh Dizzy please don't cry, sending you a cyber-hug x
Do you know why the debt is on the up rather than down? Maybe look at doing an updated SOA so you can re-evaluate your budgeting?
Sending lots of good wishes and positivity your way :heart2:

Overspending, burying his head in the sand and ignoring my requests to rein in his treats for the kids! :mad:0

Big hugs Dizzy, it makes it much harder when you are completely on board with debt reduction but your OH isn't. I hope he comes to his senses and supports you in what you're trying to do x:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Thanks everyone. Having a nice hot bath and a glass of blackberry and elderflower Pimms waiting for DH to come back from the gym. Atmosphere was very frosty at dinner. Trying to see his side of things but I'm struggling. His first wife left him over money (albeit their debt was jointly incurred) so I had hoped he would've learnt his lesson.
Maybe I'm too focussed on clearing the debt? Perhaps to the detriment of our present life - all work and no play yada yada yada... We have plenty of money coming in each month - it just isn't spent wisely0 -
Dizzy- don't compromise on your dreams of debt freedom just to satisfy his urge to spend. If he really must spend then maybe you need to let him have some kind of splurge budget each month but seriously he should see what you are trying to do for the family." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
