Great PAD LMD! For some reason that last bit reminds me of the kids cartoon "Octonaughts" - I think Captain Barnacle says something similar when they're off on a mission. Anyway, made me smile :embarasse

DH has handed me his CC with the highest interest rate with the surprising statement that he won't be using it unless I say it's OK to! Is this OK? I mean, I'm not his mum and he's an adult - would anyone else take hold of their partner's cards? He's kept the other one, but promises not to be frivolous with it.

He did ring me from work crowing about a good deal on a petrol generator he'd negotiated...only £450 . Not sure he's totally on board?

Thanks Dizzy! I don't have any kids so I'm not entirely sure what "Octonaughts" is, but if it made you smile I'm happy.

Glad your OH has handed you the CC, at least it puts you in control and there won't be any surprises on the statement.

  • Ooops, almost forgot...

Today's PAD is a bank round down of £4 to pesky Santander card... most of the big ones are over now until pay day. Awaiting first statements on transferred balances so they'll get PADded once they drop in.

Excellent counter-uppering by the way Bobarella, I too am looking forward to seeing what has been achieved over the month:T

    Have a good day everyone

Ran out of money before I ran out of month so not been around much. just caught up on the thread though and really feel for you Dizzy, my OH not as on board as I would like either but not as bad as this - I would absolutely take the card off him if it's what's needed to make it work. Know how you feel though about him being an adult and you not his mother so it shouldn't be like this.

Anyway, today is pay day and I've finally had some back pay owed to me so I've padded that today - £70.25
