On the other hand, he knows the title of my job. He says I do something with computers. He doesn't even know the name of my company (if he thinks long enough, he can come up with a close match).
this is me too - my OH is a chef, he owns his own restaurant, and over the years i've seen him at work many many times so i know what he does.
Neither my OH nor my daughter could accurately describe either my employer, my job title, or what i actually do - mostly because its civil service and so the title/description etc hold little relevance in the "real" work world.0 -
I know my OH's job title and his salary, but I could not tell you what his work entails...0

Now this is baffling for me , he does something with back end systems and databases, was oracle dba then took exams now a senior technical architect but not in the draw a house sense???
Makes our pillow talk very heavy and baffling as it really is over my head big style.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
I could tell you but I'd have to kill you…….seriously !I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I can easily recognise the building in which his office is located but I don't know the address.
Now I think about it, I'm woefully uninformed!
Honestly? You dont know what he earns?June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550

Yup. And he knows what I'm paid to do and what I actually end up doing that bears no relation to the paltry grade and pay. Before he left his last job, I also got to hear chapter and verse about it.
We've got similar jobs now. So I know what's involved in the bit I don't actually see.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll
