    In Khao Lak, Thailand right now:)

    Where are you? Bang La On, Bang Niang, or somewhere a bit remote?

    When you go to Phuket Airport next week, get you taxi driver to drop you at Arrivals. You won't be in a traffic queue, get dropped off outside the door, go in turn right, and take the lift up to Departures.

    Cheers for that Pete. I'll make sure to tell the driver, flight is at 10.30am so we will be bright and early, maybe a little quieter at that time?

    We're in Bang Niang. I like it here. Very chilled vibe, just what we want. Hotel is on the beach, it's the Ramada, soft sand but quite large waves!! Resort is perfect for what we want. Quiet dinner at night and a beer or 2 then home. Lovely massage on the beach for 200 baht...heaven :)

    Going to try Walkers Inn before we leave. Enzo's is closed and I'm disappointed, would have gone there. They've moved to new premises at the square with the big Italian and all the coloured buildings, will reopen on the 20th by which time we'll be gone. Lunch most days at My Friend, feet in the sand and delicious food. Couldn't ask for more. I know you weren't too keen on where we are but I'm ok with it. Not too many tailors/massage pestering us maybe as its low season they're having a break too

    I've just booked hotel for August 2016, Mammoth Lakes. Trying to book the Yosemite hotel and failing, nothing I like.....I'm booking so early because it's extremely popular. Would love to Camp (can't believe I'm saying that!) but want someone to do all the hard work, so I'm "knee deep" in research.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    I had a FAB 3 night stay in the Cotswold a week ago, we rented all 4 Cottages from this place and WOW! AMAZING, Fun Filled, Love Filled weekend away. I highly recommend this for people. The indoor pool was a HUGE hit with everyone! The gardens are stunning, we drank way too much but it was oh so very worth it!

    I had planned a few weeks in Australia but I've started getting a bit carried away. I'm now thinking of a stopover in Singapore then New Zealand, then Australia, then Hong Kong, then reluctantly back to Blighty. Five or six weeks in total but I may never be able to do this sort of holiday again so why not?

    I'm currently awaiting confirmation that a friend can book the time off work before I sort my flights out. He's asked for 4 weeks and won't have an answer for a week or two. BA had this itinarary at £1,250 ish which I thought was pretty darned good.

    Check it out from dublin too as it seems to knock around £200 off at times esp with the exchange rate changes
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:
