I remember there was someone who posted about going to Uganda and I was sceptical, until I read some comments on TA, and I must say my adventurous side is definitely wanting to go do a "Gorilla's in the mist" trip to Uganda!

I was supposed to be in Italy now. Sadly my MIL passed away and that was very sad for me. A lovely lady. RIP. So my solo holiday to Sorrento has been cancelled. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

So now I have to think again. With due respect of course.

6 Weeks away and off to Mallorca to go for my Padi open water dive course.


Cant wait. Am going by myself, thought OH would have a fit when I told him, but he was ok with it.


Been wanting to do this all of my life, but eyesight was that bad I couldn't. Now after having double lens replacement, can see perfect so away we go !


Wont be a leisurely holiday, got loads of homework to do whilst there, but cannot wait to see what's down there !

Oooh enjoy!!! I used to dive - once you're qualified, you'll be finding all sorts of new places to visit in the world!!

Sorry about your loss!

I'm just sitting here moaning whilst everyone has real problems! I'm just so very FED UP, I would jump onto a plane tomorrow if I could! Life, elderly parent, kids, work getting in the way:mad::mad:

I'm now avoiding TA, flyer talk, basically any forum holiday related (yes I know I'm moaning on a holiday board) because it just makes me even more miserable!

I also realised I would've been in Monaco for the F1 had I found suitable accommodation! BLeeeeeuuurrrrggghhhhh

I hope those of you who are planning or going on your holidays are having a FAB time!

I love the ocean and enjoy snorkelling, I've been toying with the idea of learning to dive......you're living the dream, have fun!
