    Evening,

Just getting to bed, alarm set for early tomorrow. Not much flying done although MIL is here and sorted the dishes after tea :A

We've also put the world to rights, had a chat about FIL who she's a bit worried over and also started planning our next holiday :T nothing firm yet, but helping to ease the post-hol blues for us both. Also had a giggle about the boys at my work who seem to have behaved like teenage girls in my absence, lol, bit of a falling out but nothing that banging their heads together won't fix :)

Also gained about 3st at my weigh-in  but I have a fridge full of healthful stuff, and a good packed lunch is ready for tomorrow.

Right, sleep for me - in the office at 6.30

Plus do a batch of washing up. I always put it off as the sink is at the wrong height for me and always gives me backache after a few minutes - unfortunately that tends to mean that I end up with a sink full of dirty plates and no clean ones to eat off! :o
I'm the same with my sink. I've resolved it by buying a shallow washing up bowl and putting it side-aways across the sink, suspended on the edges iyswim, so it's about six inches or so above the bottom of the sink. Just have to remember to swing the tap away so I don't clonk the glasses etc.

Managed about an hour all together today, split into ten minute shifts with a long sit inbetween. At least got the washing put away, the bed made, bathroom s&s and most of the kitchen done.

If it's gone I've done it or I don't have one

    Monday - Kitchen
Wipe the hob and front of the oven
    Hoover and mop the floor

Hope you all have a super Tuesday and (hugs), sticks and spoons for those needing some

I always think of the cloakroom as a closet to put coats in. I'm always getting confused with that one!

That's what I used to think too. We're obviously not posh enough!

Morning flyladies, right time to get cracking.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Morning everyone - and thanks for the bird suggestions but they are definitely not any of those - we have loads of each breed in our garden and I know them well. They are not long tailed tits either - the nearest I can see from my books is a Willow Warbler but not sure if they come into town gardens though it does say that the males nest in birch woods when they come here in about March, and it is a birch in our back garden. I'll try and get a picture.

Bossy are you exaggerating about the 3 st gain? Try SP for a few days if so.

I have on of those cloakrooms too Frizzle and Jazee! But luckily not one of the other sort - one toilet to clean is enough for me!!

Brilliant idea about the washing up bowl Lynne - I'm off to see if it'll work in my sink .

Did some gardening and an extra shift at ch shop to help out over lunchtime yesterday. Today is weigh in and I hope to have sts. Walk with d sis, Mr T delivery then more gardening whilst the weather holds fine.

I have managed to eat two huge frogs and done some calls ready for trip to DS next week, so slept a little better last night!

    Welcome to newbies.

Have a great day everyone. x

    Morning all
Glass & Glitter party was ok last night, neighbours DD and a couple of friends have set it up and are putting glitter and transfers onto glasses they looked nice and were reasonably priced. Would be nice for weddings or celebrations but nothing I really wanted for myself. I did buy a set of wine goblets for DD1 and her partner with mustache and lips on, and a pair of tumblers with blue baby feet on for DD2 and her partner.
Have also told them they can have some wine glasses off me that I was going to send to the CS it will help them build up some stock. (And clear some glassware I don't use for fear of breakage!)

Need to run down shops this morning, it's Ds2s godmothers birthday tomorrow so I need a card.
Hope everyone has a good day, hugs posi vibes sticks and spoons where needed.

Better chivvy the boys along as I still can't hear movement!

    Morning all

Slept in until 7.15 this morning, despite the early night - must have been tired :)

    Today's plan:
    - check finances while drinking my cuppa
    - 1x WM
    - check ingredients for baking (I watched the whole of Masterchef last night instead of doing this)
    - shower and dress
    - quick S&S bathroom and kitchen, open curtains, plump cushions etc
    - SW group at 9.15 with DH
    - hang out washing
    - early lunch
    - out at vol job 12-5.30
    - evening meal
    - gardening while DH is out this evening

That's about all I can do today, folks! Hope everyone has a good day. Happy to send some of our glorious sunshine to anyone with drizzle, in return for a bit of rain for my garden - but no long heavy downpours please ;)

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks as needed x
