  • Morning everyone - the sun is out here so I'm off for a long walk before I have to start jobs!!

Banking at 9 then home to sort phone calls - now I know when we can sort things for for next week. I knew there was a reason that I had been prevaricating over them! LOL!

Need to get in the garden to sort the remaining sycamore seedlings. Then will attack the kitchen.

Thanks for the lists Dusty and Natty.

Have a great day everyone. x

    Morning all
Thank you for the lists Dusty and Natty
    I'm in again this week
Hugs, good wishes posi vibes, GWS vibes, sticks and spoons for all who need them.
Bossy little ones can say things without thinking or even realising its hurts, please don't take it personally, hugs.
Pigpen hope the RSI is easing and you feel in less pain.
The new ratties sound lovely, I'm sure they will give you lots of pleasure frodders.
Lynne, how is your foot? Easing I hope.

DGS went for the procedure to cure his tongue tie yesterday, it went well and DD said feeding is now going so much better. Poor thing was at her wits end last week, she rang me in bits as he wasn't feeding and she was worried about him. Why do they discharge new mums so quickly without support:mad: her gp wasn't happy and said she should have had a transfusion with the bloodloss shed had no wonder she was anaemic. He's now got her on iron and ABs and the midwives helped to refer her to a clinic that could help re the tongue tie. So all is well again in the moneypenny clan.
Not sure what hours I'll be doing this week LOL I think it will be double, but who can tell. I've been told that I will be called on when needed so will play it by ear

Thanks for the list Dusty. I'm in. Kitchen was mostly done yesterday so that's a start. At the doctors mid morning. He is usually way over time so that might be a bit of a weight. He is lovely and takes the time to listen to his patients.

    Dailies
    Shopping
    Kitchen floor and windows.

Hopefully I can get out for a walk later.

You are very optimistic JTTOU - don't you know that the seeds wait until you've turned your back before a few more pop up? I swear I can hear my ash seedlings giggling at me, and there always seems to be one that I miss until it's a foot high!

Glad to hear that all is now well with your DD and DGS, mrs-mp.

Welcome to your new furbabies, froddy. I meant to ask after Mischief when I saw you: how has he/she taken to the newcomers?

I have got on well since 6.30 this morning:
    - printed out labels, notes and other paperwork for the next set of resource boxes
    - made a phonecall to Germany (they are an hour ahead of us, so 8.00 here is a good time to ring them)
    - phoned the bank re next month's CC repayments - no problems :)

Must make one more phonecall before I shower and dress, then after breakfast we're going out for a guided walk with the U3A canals group and then we're having lunch out - it's a lovely sunny day :D

Catch up later... Hope everyone has a good day x

That is very true about tree seedling Iona, we have a tree behind our house (not on our land) and it's always setting seeds and treelets on our back garden. The neighbour decided to see what would happen with one so she's now got a 20ft high tree to match it. Gives me double to pull out now:mad:

    Menfolk decluttered to school/work
DS2s pit given a quick once over, floordrobe cleared, laundry basket filled, clean stuff put away, huge pile of comics recycled. A few free gift/comic tat items bagged ready to take to school.
DS1s room was surprisingly tidy so I just opened the curtains and window to air it.
Nails given a quick coat of paint first thing and a knitted hat sewn together.

Going to start on the kitchen now.
