All in all very impressive for me on recent week's performance. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Managed Levels 1 and 2 in the kitchen, plus the tops of the units. I had no idea that much dust could collect. It looks a lot better. Thanks for the lists.Better is good enough.0

Evening all. So before the paid stuff, I had a tidy in the LR, hoovered through the house and walked the dogs as well as the dailies. Got three loads of washing dry on the line today too.
So I never got to look at todays list but I'm grateful its there anyway. Tomorrow is an early start at the paid stuff, but I'm hoping to get cleaning in the downstairs loo or cloakroom as posh people say.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I've had a good day too, Dusty:
- dailies done
- clean washing folded and put away
- several long and complicated emails composed and sent, with positive replies to some and "no news is good news" on the others
- enjoyed a historical walk with the U3A canals group
- DH took me out to lunch
- did even more paperwork when I got back, instead of falling asleep on the sofa
- filled my diary with even more things to do
- cooked and ate tea
- weeded the back garden and finished just before sundown
Will spend an hour or so watching TV and then get an early night, but first I must check that I have got all the ingredients I need for baking on Wednesday - I have cakes to make for DH's model railway club's show as well as for the family.0 -
Evening all! Good day back at work and Rainbows but quite late in so no flying
Hope everyone is ok xWelcome to your new furbabies, froddy. I meant to ask after Mischief when I saw you: how has he/she taken to the newcomers?
Thanks. I lost Mischief in January- his brothers ( Beau and Chaos) are ok but getting on a bit and their age is starting to show. The 3 brothers, Cookie, Noodle and Polo, are great fun and so friendly - I took them into work last term and the children had a great time holding them and building them tunnels and houses!! Babies haven't been introduced to them yet as I need to do intros at the weekend when I've got some time to spend making sure all is well.
froddington - definitely agree with Narc0lepsy - pics of your new cuties, please!
Will do - but it may have to be via PM as I know there are people on here who don't like them.
Right - need to wash up and hard boil some eggs!! ................"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

I wanna see 'em too, Frodders! When we moved here our NDN had a ratty and the kids used to save the ends of their bananas for it. DD sobbed when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
FWIW I am following the thread (as per) but reading rather than flying (again, as per....)
Many thanks for the lists and ongoing support.
I have flapped a bit today: washed some pots, ironed, put ironing away, stripped DD's bed and remade it (she's gone back to Uni) and emptied her bin (bin men come Thurs). Been to Aldi for some bits, Asda (because it's near Aldi and I needed Krisprolls, and Morries because DS needed stuff I didn't know about until after I got home. Picked up free knife and scissors and 2 packs of 20 chipolatas (thin sausages) reduced to 49p each from £4 (WOOT) - these have now been split into 10s and frozenDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I'm in again this week. Thanks Dusty for the lists and Natty for last week's.
Today I have done absolutely no flying at all. I had to finish my book for the book group this evening and even then I ended up skimming through a lot of the end. Luckily the kitchen looks ok. Will start properly tomorrow.
Book group was good apart from a very opinionated woman who annoyed me all evening. Everything I said she disagreed with - both the book discussion and afterwards :mad:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

I always think of the cloakroom as a closet to put coats in. I'm always getting confused with that one!Grocery challenge-
