Been a long day but a good one

Car all fixed and I didn't get charged a penny :D apparently it wasn't a big job and I'm sure I'm their best customer, they know I'll be back again in a few months :rotfl:
Got to get all the car paperwork sorted tomorrow and make some posters to give to family and friends that work in busy places, hopefully it won't take too long to sell :)

We had homemade chicken nuggets for tea last night made by dd they were delicious, tonight we had sausage and chips dh had the leftover chicken, tomorrow is a pasta bake from the freezer that I made last week, all going well on the food front, I much prefer being organised with our meals, I really don't enjoy cooking but meal planning makes it more bearable :)

Another day of course reading tomorrow, I'm off to rest my brain now :)

I love meal planning but I also enjoy cooking so I suppose they go hand in hand in that respect.

That's great news on the car!!! Fabulous. So you're selling it, did I read that right?

I'm studying this morning 9-12 so right there with you :)

Bad start to the day :(
bought spray paint for the car £14.99  for the new wing mirror we put on, got back in the car and the blinking airbag light came on so back to the garage :( yes DebtFree2012 we're selling it and I was on my way to get it all cleaned up so I could take some pics and get it advertised today  the money is going back into savings as that's where we took it from when we bought it for dh to get to his new job, so mad there always seems to be something stopping me from selling this car it's been 5 months now and every time I'm able to sell it something happens  Oh well it will go eventually, just hoping it will be for a nice bit of cash and not to cover costs of repair :(

Ds1 is still unwell and I think I'm coming down with a cold, got a terrible headache and just feel yuk, not a good day to be reading

Anyway enough gloom, I just paid another £5 to catalogue 1, thank you to SB for that :T the car may not be going yet but my debt is :D

Can't wait until I'm under 10000, little way to go yet but there's nothing like planning ahead to get you motivated, new home here I come :D

    Been a loooooong day

Got a bit of reading and research done but still so much to do, also had a look at a past paper for the exam I'll be doing in September, I shouldn't have looked, I'm scared

Didn't get time to list any eb@y bits, really need to do them this week, it's driving me bonkers and it's money waiting to be paid to my debt so I must get moving on that,
I am 2/3 of the way to my next SB £5 :D

Going to spend the night with my books, tomorrow I start writing my assignment, oh the joy :D

Looking means that youa re more prepared for how deeply you need to revise...
The exams I've done best on are always the ones that I looked at past papers from the past several years and marking guidelines to get an idea of what to revise and how to answer.

I'm not too worried about the revision bit, its more that the paper is to write three different mini essays, I was expecting question and answer, the thought of writing essays straight off is a bit worrying, I always do that over a few days and have plenty of time to check through everything whereas in the exam I'll have to write it straight off, I think I'll set myself a few questions and time myself writing up the answers so that I get used to writing like that, going to start that as soon as I've finished this next assignment next week, oh I feel too old for all this sometimes I'll be glad when I've finally finished the course :)

  • It's no different to questions and answers really.

I did all humanities subjects at A Level so that's what all my exams were like.

Revise the key parts, if you run out of time then summerise what you would have put in bullet point form (esp important for making sure you have a conclusion).

    It'll be fine :)

    Thanks marsbargirl :)

    Busy day today,
Dd is off school as it's being used as a polling station, poor thing didn't get a lie in, too much to do so we were up early to walk the hounds and tidy up the morning mess, next got to pop in to MIL, then do a bit of shopping for my grandfather and make his lunch, will spend the rest of the day with him and my books before I pick up ds1 and 2 from school and then finally back home, thankfully no sports clubs tonight so it's a rare evening off, hooray :D
I plan to spend this free time listing eb@y, I must, I must, I must !

Unfortunately I think all of my shopping savings this month are going to end up being used on other things, ds1&2 have a school outing I wasn't told about so need extra money for that, the next four weekends we have family birthdays (ds2 included) and a weekend camping, we have two restaurants booked for the birthdays one of which is expensive :( we don't do expensive restaurants so I'm assuming one of the family have booked because it's celebrating 2 special birthdays, luckily we don't have to stay in the hotel like the rest of our family as we don't live very far away and I don't mind forfeiting a drink to be able to drive home, also got ds1 sports dinner and cup final day out, not to mention all the little extras the children suddenly need for school, I can hear my purse weeping at the bottom of my handbag :(

Oh well at least it should all come out of my monthly budget and shopping savings, but I've still got to get the car back to the garage yet so I could still be surprised, think positive ! Everything else is still getting paid and all going to plan, things could be a lot worse so I'm staying happy happy happy :D
