Maybe the people who requested payment might not have had to? I put my bank details in when I done my return then put them in again when I requested the payment a day later. I'm curious to know if people who just left it have received payment?

Yeah same here looks like it and would be good to know if we didn't have to request it. It's never came up in 13 years that I've had to request it, has always just automatically gone in. If its stuck it has to be manually done .............how long is a piece of string as to the timescale by the looks of it

To be fair I think that sounds more plausible, I had a feeling there was something up having to request it again the following day! Just hope 'the system' sorts its self out and fast lol

I'm in the same boat. Put in my bank details on my original return and then again the next day when it said that i had to request payment. I'm not sure if this is the problem though because i remember having to do the same last year and i received the payment within 4 days. I just think with the newly designed system this year they have come across some problems that they did not know they had. System is in a meltdown!
  • Just ask my mates, 6 of them, all are waiting for there monies... Did anyone got already??? Thanks
  • Thats what i got told for 3.5k, my mate had over 2k with no checks, he submitted on 6th and got his into bank on 13th.

Mines under draft check so should get it shortly i think.

Ive been told 3 different things on 3 different calls.

1st time they said its having a security check
2nd time they said its pending, well duh i know that
3rd time they said its under draft check (so said it should be soon)
  • alright lads, I filed mine on the 6th @ 6:45 am and claimed my repayment on the 7th @ 6:48am and it has been bank repayment pending since then, the website has 'as of 16th April ' so It seams there website is a day behind and I have contacted the hmr, to which they replied I had been selected for security checks, but every other year I have had my money five working days from selecting repayment, in the bank and cleared in five, it's been two weeks nearly so far, but it seams I'm not the only one, I have been told if you let them know of your hardship they can speed the process up, but this could just be another load of !!!!!!!!.
    keep you updated.
  • Ok ,at least some of us got what they deserve!!!
  • Seems a lot of people are waiting.'pending' looking the most common issue.looking like next week now as the hmrc site regarding account is accurate as of yesterday,so they update the following day effectively.not good
  • Did you guys press that " request repayment" or don't? Well done to you! 87
