Well I wanted a second opinion so called them again. 45 mins on hold to be told I've to call again in two weeks time. I'm not holding my breath for that to be honest

Still no money been waiting since 8th April now still pending and not had any letters through to explain what is going on!

It's shocking you feel like your never going to get the money. I call twice a week at least and every person I've spoke to try everything in their power to get me off the phone. I understand that they can only tell me what's on my file notes but I'm told the 1st June for payment then told on 1st June when I call back that there's been a 14 day extension on it by the security team for further scrutiny so god only knows when it will be released. I know for a god given fact when I call on Monday they will make up another payment date and so it will continue.


My mate was in the same boat last year, he made an amendment in June and it stayed at Repayment Pending until December! After a few letters and countless calls during the 6 month period.


I've sent a letter off yesterday to the SA complaints Dept, I'm told from a certain source that the security Dept are non contactable via the call centre and the only Dept that has access to the security Dept is the SA complaints team so we'll see what the letter does.


All in all I'm not holding out any hope for the summer

I'm in the same boat not really sure where to write to or who to ring as get told lots of different things! Not had any letter or messages through to explain anything just £2.5k that apparently I cannot have back as its pending

So since 29th April I've been given 4 promise dates. The latter being today when I was told (after a 50min wait on hold) that payment should be made any time up to 8th July! It's been referred twice, When I asked what the term referred meant I was told she couldn't tell me!

I asked her if she just guessed the 8th July like all the previous dates and was told there was a note on the system saying the 8th July is the final day I should hear back by. To be honest I doubt this very much I'll place any bet on having to call back on 8th July to be told it's now August!

Any news yet? I've sent a letter of complaint now but still nothing has changed on the website

Not a peep, because my friend was in the same boat last year he waited 6 months from June to December for his repayment so I'm not holding my breath anytime soon

Have you heard anything yet I was awaiting a refund of £3700 and I checked this morning and the amount has changed to £2880 has this happened to anyone else? If so how long for payment as I go on holiday on Saturday and without it I wont beble to go as lost my job in April I done my return the 14th of April and others who done there's have received there's but not me.

Well I just called and mine is finished with security checks and it has been lowered because I owed money to tax credits how long after security checks are finished are payments released?

Completed my wifes tax return on Saturday, got the rebate showing as being paid into our account tomorrow! :beer:
