Is anybody else having trouble trying to request there repayment?

    No, in what way?

I dont even think you 'have to' request your payment, once youve submitted it, they'll send you a payment
  • All of my tax has been paid. I'm a subcontractor, the company i work for deducts my tax for me.

Maybe my post wasn't very well worded. If your profit is above each relevant limit for class 2 nic, class 4 nic and tax you will have a liability (money due) for each of those which will be shown on your self assessment calculation. If the amounts due come to say £4500 and the company has deducted £5000 during the year you will be entitled to a refund of £500.

I don't think anyone can help anymore without knowing what you have entered on your tax form and.what the final calculation shows. It really does sound as though you've gone wrong somewhere but impossible to tell what's wrong without more info

You dont HAVE to request the payment they will still send ur payment akthough i do beleive it speeds up the process. Can we all let eachother know if our statuses change from
BANK PAYMENT PENDING, to BANK PAYMENT... :)
  • No problem mate,,can't actually see status as it switches between 'old' format page and 'govgateway' new format..
