    I thought it was only men that could have prince alberts? thought the female one was a different name lol

    Hi, Are you using your SAD lamp!!! Definitely the time to try it. Also try to get outside a little in the daylight, even if it's just a short walk in a lunch break. The last few days we've been out and about dismantling a freecycle Greenhouse and getting some free slabs too, despite the weather it definitely made us feel better. We do have a tendency to hibernate in the winter, so it was nice to see the difference.

    Can any of you recommend a SAD lamp? I think OH might benefit from one. I do agree that we both feel better when we manage to get out for a decent walk.

    We've got daylight bulbs in a couple of rooms, which supposedly mimic normal daylight, they're far cheaper than SAD lamps which give an intensive blast of light. Might be worth a try first. We've got one as a main light in a room, but going to switch it to a lamp, as we don't want it on in the middle of the night and messing our body clocks up!!
