Today has been one of those days where I am still in my Jammies sitting in front of the fire and surfing mse ... great to have those kinda days every now and then but tomorrow I need to insure I dont, I have so much uni work that HAS to be done, and I start back placement Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will need to pick up a wee Sunday shift this week as well, so loads to get done tomorrow... in the mean time I think its time for another coffee and another surf :)

wages arrive in the bank on Wednesday as well and I need to sit down and work out the months budget, and more than that I will need to make sure we stick to this months budget, really should be doing that just now, so better get started on that as well

http://www.sunkettle.com/product/suncook-solar-oven oh man was on Kc's diary and she talks about solar kettles, have been googling various solar things ... I wanna :)

not for now but when we retire and travel about a bit I reckon these things would be a great help ( Wonderbags also are a brilliant idea)

Mr El had a wee look at hiring out a motorhome for our holiday this year, we were thinking that when we go away we usually take the tent, last year was a wash out and we only lasted one night due to the horrendous weather, so was thinking try a motor home as maybe in the future Mr El and I may think of getting a wee motor home to travel Europe with, it was £1k a week, well we cant afford that so no chance of trying it out, I think its too early in our plans to look at buying one as well as we have another 18 years till we retire, maybe in 15 years or so time might be to get one, but I did fancy trying one out to see if it is something we might do... kinda to see if we should keep it in mind for when we retire or discount it as it wont be suitable type thing.

If we did decide to buy a motor home for travelling then these solar ovens and kettles would be very handy things to have, so it's great to know they are out there :)

Re solar kettle - Some one told me I should have had one on saturday when I had a power cut (first major one in 11 years) and a solar radio, I'm seeing the bit where it says 30 mins weather dependent and wondering if it would work in cloudy Scotland?
