bicarb or baking powder?

    As the title says, I have them in similar jars but dont which is which - any help ?

    i have just compared both of mine, and the only difference is that the baking powder looks more powderey like flour and the bicarb looks more like salt granuals.

    thought i would test the both in vingear and they both fizz so thats not much help either!

    Thanks Red Ballon, off to make some buttermilk scones - to use up my buttermilk left over from making all my butter with my cheap cream !!! (see my other recent post). I want to try the KFC Buttermilk biscuits that we had when last in florida - they were fab !!!

    LOL well if it happens again next time.........try tasting them :D Bicarb is much whiter and coarser than baking powder btw ;)
