yes, you mean a balance transfer offer..
your Barclaycard is still open?
Yes, I have transferred from it to another card, and back when they have a new offer.
As I say every month they send a letter with some offer inside.
Most of the time its transfer your balance from another card and pay no interest for a year, or transfer money into your bank account and pay no interest until such and such a date.0 -
yes, i get those re. my Barclaycard, and my MBNA card.. even though i have a balance on the former.
i thought, from what you'd said elsewhere, that you had two card accounts open & that neither of them were Barclaycard.. i must have misunderstood.0 -
I read this thread yesterday, and found details of this amex visa combo, I have 2 Barclaycards.
I sent Barclaycard a secure message asking if I could be upgraded to this combo, I did this due to the impending withdrawal (even though I have as of yet had no letters) of my .5 and 4% luma capitalone cards
Barclaycard have confirmed I can be upgraded to the amex visa combo, can I ask those of you who upgraded to this, did you keep your existing interest rate and do you still get the balance transfer offers on your online account?0 -
and is amex accepted at lidl aldi asda and asda petrol self service?0

i don't think Lidl and Aldi accept credit cards, do they?
certainly Asda accept Amex.0 -

I've had a Barclaycard for years which is now a Platinum one.
Am I therefore entitled to a cashback card and does it have any fees.
What is the best way to apply for one?
Thanks0 -

no fees, you can cashout the cashback whenever you want (applied on next statement, no waiting for a once a year) ring and ask them or send a secure message like I did.0
