Yorkies, stuffing, broccoli/cauli, peas, mash, gravy.
Sounds yummy! :j OH made the Yorkshire pudding batter last night, as recommended by someone on the web, many thanks to our very own Generali for the link to the article! :A I'm sure it'll be OK still tomorrow, and seeing as only 2 of us we'll just do 4 Yorkies and make pancakes with the rest! I agree. Life without bacon would not be worth living.
We don't do Valentines Day either.

We were going to go out somewhere nice (undecided where) but DS1 decided to visit. Makes up for DS2 being in London but too loved up to see us.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Many threads ago, there was a discussion on flying in Bus Class. I recall Viva (I think) saying that on staff tickets you were expected to refuse an amenity bag. Not sure we talked about lounge access, but there is an interesting thread on FT the conclusion of which seems to be that there are circumstances when you can use the lounge on a staff ticket.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Interesting, thanks silver. We never seem to know anyone who is flying on a full fare ticket at the same time to guest us. We have also never managed to get to silver status. Even flying absolutely tons, the most we managed was bronze because of the amount of concessionary flights. I think though I'm not 100% certain that we get lounge on club hotlines.
We did however both get lounge access when we flew Concorde, even though his ticket cost I think £199 return to NY and mine was c£250 (we had to fly back on a 747). We had to take separate flights as we were both the flight courier. I flew backwards through sunset, which was amazing. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? had relatives who won a return flight for two to NY on concorde. They had two daughters so each parent and daughter flew ordinary flights one way and concorde on the other IYSWIM.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

It's funny. I was only thinking about Concorde this morning.
I know the economic reasons why it was discontinued, but it still feels disappointing to know its not flying any more.
We enjoyed Concorde, and I just wish more people had the opportunity to try something which really was the Best of British.

The British did the engineering and the French the catering. I thought everyone knows that.
Let's face it, you wouldn't want the Brits doing the food and wine!0 -

I am very, very fortunate that DW loves spring flowers. So, she has a bunch of daffs and a bunch of tulips. And, what makes me truly fortunate is that she says they are lovely. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

..the catering and the crooked nose.
Oh they might claim it was some pilot visibility aid, but chief French aeronautical designer Gerard Depardieu was an egotistical man who put rather a lot of himself in his work.0
