!!!!!! is wrong with it. It's not doing the beep when the temp drops that it did when the batteries were low, it's springing into full chorus.
Is it hardwired? Mine does stuff like that when there is a brownout or power cut. I wouldn't know or care that there was a power cut at 3am as would be asleep with lights off, but then it sets off and there doesn't seem to be a way to reset unless power comes back on. Brownout slightly different, it beeps a bit when power goes low. Thankfully this is not a frequent state of affairs.
May be worth asking neighbours. When it happens here, theirs go off too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It's telling you that there are some great replacement alarms to be found down at the DIY shed.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Mine do that when they are ready to be replaced, think it is the internal back up battery or something. Not very nice when it goes off in the middle of the night for no reason, especially when you have OCD about fire.
Mine were supposed to last 10 years, they both failed within 3 years. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

We had something like that, but single glazed wood. I was concerned about security. Each half of that door has one single lock.
We replaced it with something like this.
The lock in the door has the standard multi locking bolts.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I really didn't understand what CK meant when he said his current mood has something to do with the 2007 Moldova Eurovision entry. Did he mean that he felt like doing some karaoke, maybe? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

It's telling you that there are some great replacement alarms to be found down at the DIY shed.
In the twenty first century, nobody in NSW has died in a housefire where there has been a working smoke detector fitted.
A smoke detector will cost you a tenner plus a quid or so to change the battery each time you change your clocks (nice and easy to remember that way).
Lovely day here (again). High 20s (82F in old money) and sunny. Not at all humid. I love living here some days.
A question. Why do some people think that giving someone a $2 mug filled with $1 chocolates bought for $10 means that they love them more?0 -
We had a lot of beeping. Changed batteries in smoke alarms, tried disconnecting them - the noise wouldn't stop.
Then we remembered we had a carbon monoxide alarm in the living room. That little beggar was the cause of all the problems..0
