Do you take passengers? It sounds like a blast.

For normal flying, yes, when I'm current I carry passengers and you can have a fair bit of fun in most aircraft with easy manoeuvres like stalls, wingovers, and pulling a few g in steep turns.

For proper aerobatics though, insurance conditions on the few rated planes available around here require an instructor on board and they're only two seaters, and besides, I'm nowhere near current enough to fly solo aerobatics comfortably these days.

Back when I was flying daily I had access to a couple of aero rated planes that I could take up, and occasionally took friends along for some rolls or loops, but more often we'd just load up a few mates into something with decent range and speed then fly somewhere nice for the weekend.

    I've been Money Tipped!
We could get dangerously used to these part time hours. Today we have relaxed a lot, and cuddled a lot, and said 'mañana' a worrying amount.

Barely getting on line because relaxing in pairs is time consuming. ;)

    Sigh...

I am sat in the office. As I was yesterday.
A friend and I have come in to tackle things we've been procrastinating over.

I've also eaten a disturbing amount of Pepperami (other meat-based snacks are available and have been consumed too :o).

We went to see the new Avengers film last night as a bit of light relief (and some muscles). Looking forward to Poldark tonight!

Hope part-time working continues to work so well for the two of you :D

    Surprisingly heavy snow here tonight.

15 degrees last week and positively baltic now.

Better make the most of this one then. Ready when you are, Mr. Poldark :)

Wonder where he'd tie his horse when he pops to see you.

Not liking the start of this episode - pointless waste of time/song.

I really need to concentrate more when reading this thread.

Until I read it again, Hamish was not sure whether to strip off Poldark style to visit Nikks on his horse, given that he could be hit by a Baltic blast with his shirt off.

Bizarrely, it was only the thought of Hamish singing that made me realise I'd got the wrong end of the stick.

    Wow viva
Best lay off the cheese before you go to sleep tonight!

Could probably find room to stow a horse, couldn't manage a plane.

It's been a weird couple of days... recovering from a virus so have spent a lot of it in bed. As I was bored, I downloaded a trivia quiz free from the app store. Strangely it asked me questions in Spanish even though everything else was in English. Even stranger, I kept winning even though my Spanish is terrible. That and a temperature, Hamish being bare chested on a steed didn't seem that much of a stretch.
