Did any of the Wurzels have nasty accidents?

    Unfortunately not.

They still headline music festivals in places such as Wellington and Watchet every summer.

Our old home has just gone up for sale. They've done a pretty amazing job on it, but I do wish they'd kept the original front door. Or at least had a replica made with the original glass from 1905-ish. Oh well.

I've seen all the art, think it is dunelm or possible 'the range' but it's definitely a one stop shop.

    I love the kitchen.

So big question, would they have made a profit?

Making a loss on my teeth. Go to dentist to sort bit of tooth that had chipped off the massive filled hole from December's root canal. All good says dentist, it just needs a crown. Taps it, "this feel fine?" me "no, it feels tender". Oh. that's a shame. Maybe the root is still infected. :( more antiobiotics and the chances of the tooth being saved are reduced. :(

Tried to open the window trickle vent, but it's too high up without a stepstool.

I use my walking stick to flick the trickle vent switch. A metal coat hanger might reach high enough up - and has the loop to pull it down easily to re-open. Ours are shut at present as the wind has been howling a lot the last few days. Quiet at the mo, but I think more forecast!

I'll have to have a bit of a think about that. Given all the work they've done in the house I suspect it's a bit touch and go... Prob only a small profit.

So sorry to hear about your tooth saga - I have some suspicions about some of my teeth. I'm not convinced that root canal work works very well a lot of the time. Hope that you can get it sorted out OK. I'll be re-starting the tooth reconstruction stuff soonish, but hope to get away for a few days before then... I need to get my diary organised, haven't really much clue when anything is happening so far this year! :o

    Looks lovely!

I was in a friends house last night for the first time, a flat in a converted mansion.

    It's absolutely lovely, too!

I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't what I saw; really well done and really modern.

Lovely house. I can ijmagine what you mean about the front door; ours is a real proper feature, hope to keep it as long as possible.

Pastures re laundry, I was in Aldi yesterday and bought another one of these. Brilliant for hanging up washing, and put onto hangers straight from the machine I do barely any ironing:

I think the boxes were packed by my colour-blind husband though. Opened the box marked blue and it was red.
