Australia day fact... proof that Australia is part of Hertfordshire... St Albans is in Victoria. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Happy Australia Day Gen. I was thinking of you just now,as there was an oil analyst on the news, talking about the impact of the price fall on the US economy. Said that the expected result if greater consumer spend was not happening, therefore impact on fracking industry has not been positively offset. Though he put it more eloquently than my synopsis.

An interesting comment. We'll see when the GDP numbers come out.

Consumption is complicated these days because of Internet retailers making comparison harder.

If you drive over the Harbor Bridge in Sydney out of the city you are invited to turn either right for Liverpool or left for Newcastle.

I guess with everyone upside down and standing on their heads the left and right are the opposite ways round....
    I think....

I can't say that I have made a single extra car journey because the price of petrol has come down. Likewise, I'm not turning the heat in my house up. How elastic is demand for energy?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Not really. Left and right are still the same, except they point in opposite directions. West is on the left in the Uk, but it's on the right in Oz.

I felt sorry for that chap Worsley, who died at the South Pole. Every way he looked was North.

Lucky it is a home match as if you travelled to Saint Mary's home of the Super Saints you would miss the match against Stoke....
Just tried out a new tasty lunch/snack. Sausage in a bread roll ....

I just rehydrated a teaspoon of the onions in boiling water. I defrosted a cheese topped roll I'd bought/frozen. I sliced 5 cocktail sausages in half and then nuked those with the rehydrated onions.

Squirt of brown sauce.... and ...

The verdict is: very tasty. Well worth doing that. Nom nom ....

    Total cost: 33p

Good news according to the BBC toay is that what is healthy/unhealthy depends on the person doing the eating rather than the food being eaten....
    I think....

    Two questions:

If I find I failed to claim £250 of expenses against my 13/14 rental income on my tax return how can I apply to have this corrected?

DD2 would really like to make robots - is lego technic the best way to go or other their (better) alternatives - does meccano still exist? Do any link nicely to tablets/PC for a programming interface?
    I think....
