IMO you should be able to offset at least some of the cost.
I really don't get why people are so against more flexibility like this.
I also believe that people should get tax breaks if they go and seek medical work in European countries where it can be cheaper.
We are, as usual, on the same page.
I was thinking that the time was coming to get a new pair of trainers, popped into TK Maxx and found a pair of Caterpiller branded trainers for £7.00. If they'd had two pairs in my size, I'd have got both!0 -
A 10-year-old Muslim boy who wrote that he lived in a "terrorist house" - when he meant "terraced house" - during an English lesson at school has been interviewed by police.
Police called at his home in Accrington, Lancashire, the following day and examined the family laptop, according to the BBC

Gen, if it isn't too much trouble, what is the situation with care homes for the elderly, with or without dementia?
Are they fully funded, part funded?0 -

I know what I like ..... and as I think that's the perfect shape etc I'd not want anything else. But maybe I'm missing a benefit/feature I'd not thought of before.
Not saying what I love because that'd possibly sway your answers/opinions. So spill the beans.... love/hate and why.
This is BASE shape ... not about fancy lights, or huge shower heads and modern steam rooms..... (of which there will be none, of course).
Easy.
1400mm by 900mm. (or longer)
edit: walk in shower is what I prefer.
Simple, easy access. Hinged or sliding doors are okay, but they can accumulate grime.0 -

*sighs*
Sitting round the back now ... no sunlight falling into this room, looking through the patio doors at the shaded back garden.
IMHO
An extension gives you the ability to go for more light. The pic below shows 2/3 of our lounge or so.
(the dog cleaning it's undercarriage is an optional extra, so they tell me)

Fairly large, space permitting. You may need more space as you get older and less nimble. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I don't like shower bases at all, they irritate me by ruining the clean lines of the floor. I have a small bathroom with no base and no shower door and no bath. Just tiles and a shower. Perfect, saves on so much cleaning as well.
since we're sharing house pics....
The left hand wall is only just out of shot, but all that's there is a shower head and the operating panel.0 -
I hope you all have a lovely day.
That's all.0
