Apparently sprouts are the new kale according to a random show I was watching last night. We still have lots to eat as they were 5p a bag in aldi on xmas eve.

Trick is not to cook them too long and serve straight away.
    I think....

On an irrelevant point, yesterday we drove past a town called Aldie but it didn't have an Aldi!;)

The Kab clan are going out to a party tonight, one we have been to before.

They seem to have one of 2 basic incendiary moments :-
    a) launch fireworks and try to burn down a neighbouring shed, or
    b) launch chinese lanterns and burn down any one of a few neighbouring sheds about 10 minutes later.

Neither gets me excited, tbh. I'm more looking forward to going for a run with the latest running tech.

I hope the NP crew massive enjoy the passing of a faux-important moment in the temporal calendar as much as the media think we should :)

They've been trying to ban those for years, they're no joke when it's YOUR house they set fire to. They can land anywhere.

Reminds me of a drive home, where I used to go through a small place called Read, which had a library.

The sign to the library was of course labelled "Read Library". I used to yell back (in my head) that I haven't time to read a book, never mind their whole library :D

Is it illegal or immoral for an mp to have a relationship with a 17 year old?

I've often wondered if Reading Library or the University of Reading ever get any stick for their location-name, or if they'd be better-off using non-geographical names.;)

    Err, I have a relationship with a 17 y.o .... my daughter.

She thinks it is a Daughter<->Father relationship.

    I know it to be Daughter<->Human ATM/Taxi/House Maid ;)

    Over 16, so not illegal.
17, so immoral .... because he's just a leering, dirty old bugg4h. Had nothing to do with soulmates and shared interests .... he was just dribbling over thoughts of nubile flesh.

    EDIT:
I hadn't read it before, of no interest to me... so I took a look. It seems she applied for a job in his constituency office and he started bombarding her with dirty texts. THAT is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Dirty, dirty, old pervert.
    Wrong.

I haven't read the details but it sounds both nasty and sad from what you say and the law actually does seem to cover this under 'position of trust'.
    I think....

    Rochdale innit.

There's a strong tradition of sleaze to maintain.

Cyril Smith was another. I remember him at a music festival in Rochdale.
