Want to wish a very Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah and a healthy and prosperous New year to those NPs who are not currently posting but may be lurking. Wanted to get in early as they don't stop by as regularly.

That's lir, NDG, fc, Inspector, treliac,ss555s, Dave, missk, wageslave and doubtless many more. Plus of course lovely Lydia, who still pops by but less frequently.

The Skoda Citigo went because I really, really dislike the Skoda logo and didn't want to drive around with that on the front of my car. .
That would have been my second choice for a variety of reasons.
Is it against the law to get somebody to make a new logo to stick on the car?:D

I'm sure there isn't, but it would be a huge faff. Plus it would look like I was pretending I didn't own a Skoda, whereas the reality is I don't mind the brand, but its logo is pig ugly.

I think most car logos are ugly. Just tell everybody your car's a Vivatifosi Triphibian Atomicar, and if they haven't heard of it, they need to get out more! :D

Now one of those would be fabulous... not entirely useful, but fab nonetheless.

I dislike most logos too. Skoda is my least favourite, but I also dislike Vauxhall (the Opel logo is so much cleaner) Honda, Ford (boring), and a host of others.

I like Maserati, which is probably my favourite, Ferrari and Audi. Also quite like the new more fluid version of the Hyundai logo.

Sadly I can't afford to jack it all in and drive off into the sunset ;)

    :D

To be fair neither can I.

    But where there's a will there's a way.... :)
I truly hate office politics though. What a waste of everyone's time and energy.

Yep. Seems to be a universal feature of workplaces however.

He was an imaginative fellow for designing vehicles; his Electrical Runabout is only now becoming reality. :D

It may even become more common than his other famous invention.

As regards logos. DW's earliest car logo kept on getting pinched when the Beastie Boys were using them as medallions.

On a serious note though, it seems very cold, even for December.

And to that, let's add JohnnyBravo and BertieUK. I'm more of a lurker myself than I used to be.

Real life's getting in the way, but in a good way. Work's getting much, much busier (although pay's not going up, just less likely I'm not needed, and more likely I'll be retiring after my mortgage's paid off).
