We were out today. It was warm, incredibly warm for the time of year, but also incredibly grey and bleak. I'm sorry to be such a moaner, but the weather is depressing. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Not here. 32C is the predicted max and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It's glorious. Sorry* to rub it in. Shame I haven't got a pool...oh hang on a sec
I've got my last three days of work before Christmas. The shopping for Aussies is all done although I need to pull my finger out re UK family. I think that will be a job done at work today (sorry boss). I'm doing some work regarding the carbon intensity of our investments. It's interesting but it's also quite complex so I need to take breaks.
The forum police seem to have backed off. Wonder why? They seem to go through periodic bouts of idiocy.
*I'm not in the least bit sorry.0 -

I've had to work pretty solidly for the last six weeks so am mega behind (new job) Time to start buying presents and cards and sling up a tree. My Christmas prep will finally start today.
I had missed the start of the new job. What is it?0 -

On a serious note though, it seems very cold, even for December.
Oh and I were saying how mild it is. We need the temperature to drop a bit as we usually store vegetabes in the utility area over christmas as there is not enough room in the fridges. They wont keep well enough if the temp stays up.
Beers, fizzy water and soft drinksare usually cold enough with refrigeration.
OH cut the front lawn today, the back is too wet but it needs cutting as the grass has continued to grow. Have never cut grass this late before.0 -

If you're alive , it's of finite length, allegedly.
If we have passed on, it is regrettably eternal.:(
I was once marooned in a waiting room, for over an hour, where the only reading matter was Hello and OK magazines. :eek:No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Avoided the X Factor.
I'm watching Tattoo Fixers. I think I've said before, but it's brilliant. I have no tattoos.
I am bemused by the guy with his friend's initials on his manhood. It's now going to be a zombie finger. Odd.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ours needs cutting too. I think OH did it in October, but since then either he's not been well enough or it's been too wet! So it's very long now. If you cut yours in July or August, Pastures, I'm sure it must be more than 3 inches long by now!
Scary, this warm weather. It's due to be 15 degrees in London mid-week!
I've put our little tree up, but it looks a bit sorry for itself really. Time to get a new one next year, perhaps.0
