Someone suggested it to me when I was looking at replacing Juke1, but it looked biggggggggggg.
It's not as long as my Grand Scenic, prob about the same width, but it's both taller and a bit higher (to step into). So yes, it does look big! :rotfl: But after all the probs we've had with my car this summer I don't think we'll be looking at Renault again (and our local dealer don't seem to be very helpful grr but Motability people have been fantastically helpful).
Have just under a year before my Motability contract is up, unless I don't get PIP when called (in which case it finishes more or less immediately). But if I don't get transferred from DLA to PIP at least we'd have a car I can get into if we get the ix35. No idea when I'm likely to get the dreaded brown envelope, but could be any time over the next couple of years.
Other options might be Ford C Max or Grand C Max, but think OH prefers the Hyundai.0 -

I have had to re-evaluate what biggg means, in practical terms.
If you look out of our upstairs window you can see DW's 5-series BMW parked alongside my 4 wheel drive thingy, which has 7 seats.
The BMW is most definitely bigger, as in longer and just as wide. It isn't what I expected.
However, when it comes to parking, the BMW has a display to show proximity on all 4 corners (plus some self park thing we have never tried). I'd say the BMW is much easier to park than my old and smaller German coupe car and the 4x4 car.
Wasn't the Juke based on the chassis of the Nissan Micra? Definitely not in the biggg category0 -
An update on my dental journey, to share with NPs.
I had the main part of the implant surgery yesterday. I wasn't looking forward to it, in truth.
However, it was much better than expected. Maybe this will reassure others facing a similar choice.
The really painful extraction was the removal of my debit card from my wallet to pay afterwards....ouch0 -

Glad it went OK. I asked about implants, but chap I saw said I had too much bone loss in my jaw. But new dentist (the one I got just over a year ago when Nice Lady Dentist left to have baby) has been rebuilding my teeth, and it seems to be working quite well. Have 2 crowns and a bridge to go still I think, then it'll be just back to the usual maintenance stuff - old fillings popping off and suchlike.0 -

Looking at the BMW 5 parked next to the Juke, the BMW is longer but the Juke is higher.

Are you representative of your local biscuit type.
My biscuit of choice is a dark chocolate digestive and has to be McVities.
Not reaaly a biscuit person but M&S Almond biscuits were a great source of comfort when I was ill, otherwise an Ameretti with coffee.0 -

There ain't nothing like a dentist to damn with faint praise !
I'm all too aware of phrases like "you keep your teeth well considering the work you have had done in the past" and "it's a case of keeping on top of things now".
I wonder...if you happen to be Elton John or some other rich n famous, does the narrative change?0 -

Having had to park and start my car on a steep hill today (and as a non-garage-owner) I've often wondered how steep a sloping ramp you'd have to put in a garage to fit a longer car into it. :think:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
