We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    I'm a terrible food shopper.

If I go when I'm hungry I will just pick up the stuff which looks appealing and likely to satisfy the immediate need.

If I'm not hungry I wander around disinterested.

I shop almost every day with a particular meal in mind.

The only problem is that I end up forgetting toothpaste, washing powder, bug spray etc..

Hey CK. I'm watching the replay of Georgia v Argentina. Any idea what the history of the G flag is? I was thinking about that when I was watch G vs Fuji.

As much as I love Wikipedia I respect CK more than a bunch randoms.

I suspect that my version of unionism and the UK flag is very different to Wikipedia. Obviously I'm righterer.

Probably best not to after a 6 hour meeting in a pub.....

The current Georgian flag is a political statement, based on the same pro-Western ideology that led Georgia into the same mess it got into in the early 1990s. Sorry if that seems a little strong, but IMO Saakashvili is the main part of the reason that I can't (safely) return now to the place that I truly call home, as whilst he did a great job with Adjara, he did less so with Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The previous Georgian flag, used until 2004 (see below) is the flag from Georgia's pre-USSR days, and was designed in Kutaisi in the early 1910s, by a Georgian painter.

Yeah, but you might've put him in a spot. e.g. I've no idea how our flag came about - except it's some mash up of several countries' flags when we all joined up together .... don't know when, don't know why.

    :)

He can always look it up on Wikipedia:)

    Re implants (for kab).

DH has had one and will shortly have another. They are not cheap, but good way of managing problem if crown no longer an option and you would otherwise need a bridge. I would like one, but for mine would need a bone graft and a sinus lift, which I'm not willing to do for the sake of a single tooth.

Our dentist specialises in implants and does them for other surgeries. He says that if you are having one, check whether your dentist actually does them. If they don't, they hand you on to a second dentist who comes in and does it in dentist one's practice, which involves a management fee. So cheaper to find a dentist you trust that will do it themself. I think DH straightforward ones still over £1000 a piece. Not covered by Denplan as bridge is cheaper/available option... unless things have changed. Looks great though and v natural.

I'm looking into this as well and it's quite involved. There are threads on this very forum where some of the posters claim to be dentists, and give what appears to be sensible advice.

My dentist, and excellent NHS chap, doesn't do them so I'm faced with finding someone to do them privately. Seems like you could pay a couple of thousand per implant if it's complicated enough.

My need is for 2. I'm straightforward apparently so its 1800 apiece plus a few hundred for temp work.

Some quotes look cheaper because they don't factor in the bone graft costs which can be 300 per.

Luckily there is a specialist in my practice.

Oh. One for Gen. The bone graft material is Aussie cow! Reason ... No bse!
