On the news this morn there was a story about a company defrauded to the tune of £1m by one of these Windows type scams.
I wonder if this will raise the profile of the problem if it is no longer affecting "poor little granny" and her windows laptop?0 -
Goodness michaels! Fingers crossed it's just due to lack of sleep.0

This was my post 5716.
May I reccomend a film. With many here not finding good things on TV. Maybe you might try the Cinema.
Yesterday we went to see the new Woody Allen film starring Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix. It is funny, entertaining and thought provoking.

Josh had a much better day today....
All sounds v promising. V pleased for you both.Lydia That was brilliant! I'm not nearly so imaginative if one of these people phones me.
Thank you. I'll pass that on to him. Thanks IL - of course at bedtime she started up an evil sounding cough and slight whizziness and when the alarm went off at 3AM for her medication (subutamol puff) it was hard to go back to sleep for me as her breathign was pretty noisy. However it was noisey but reasonable speed (30 breaths a minue ot the 60 when we first took her in) and her neck and stomach were caviating so I decided she would be OK and she was but I really don't liek that being unsure feeling where the options are to assume all is OK or drive out to the hospital (30 minutes in the cold and dark) and probably get readmitted for a few days. This morning she was very bright and kept asking why she wasn't allowed to go to school, even the medicines that were so disgusting at hospital seemed to be fine to take, especially with the threat of a return to hospital if she didn't take them. Kids bouce back so quickly.
Now I have a strange headache. When I was in SA and got pneumonia it was after being very close to DD2 caring for her when she had it first and it started with a funny headache...
Hoping and praying for the best for the whole michaels family.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Edit: it won't let me write the name of a yellow-skinned seedless fleshy five-sided fruit that is sold in bunches and grows on a kind of palm tree. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I never knew/realised they had five sides.
It didn't censor bananas but if you put inverted commas round it, it does censor !!!!!!!s" :rotfl:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Josh Update! (Yes, I will probably bore you all silly over the next week or so)
Another good day, he had someone to take notes of the introduction today and to help him make sense of what was going on, so that made him feel more confident and able to do it. He has turned down the helper for tomorrow as it is more hands on and he tends to be able to remember that better plus it is something he does have experience in (sound desk stuff, he did sound for numerous plays and did heaps of research prior to each one so he didn't make mistakes)
Tonight he apologised for not replying to a text I sent (just a silly picture of the cat with a pair of Josh's boxers on his head.....Jazz is missing him), as he was out at another flat having fun and talking music. Apparently the kitchen of his flat had been taken over by the acting crowd, lots of noisy over excited females and the get together upstairs seemed a far more attractive place to be. :rotfl:
Yep, I think he is starting to enjoy this nowWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I am here with a poorly dog and a broken Aga so no heating or cooking.
His hotel room he described as "swanky". A duplex with view.He does not travel "swanky" so not sure/why how this has happened.
I know where I would rather be.0
